
He was the 35th President of the United States during two years from 1961 to 1963.
While the World War II:
After military service as commander of the Motor Torpedo Boats during World War II in the South Pacific, Kennedy
represented Massachusetts's 11th Congressional District in the House of Representatives from 1947 to 1953 as a democrat.
After that, he served in the american Senate from 1953 until 1960. Kennedy
defeated Vice President and Republican candidate Richard Nixon in the 1960 Presidential Election.
He was the youngest elected to the office, at the age of 43, the
second-youngest President, after Theodore Roosevelt (26th President of the U.S.A).
His Presidential beginnings:

Kennedy was the only Catholic president, and is the only president to have won a Pulitzer Prize for his book “Profiles in Courage”. This book is a list of portraits of politicians who didn't hesitate to risk their reputation to assert their opinions.
On 12 September 1953, the future president of the United States married Jaqueline Lee Bouvier in Newport. America White House seven years later. They had four children, but lose a stillborn girl in

and a little boy a few days after birth in

Kennedy was assassinated on 22 November 1963 in Dallas,
Texas. Although Lee Harvey Oswald was charged with the crime,
he was shot and killed by J. Ruby two days later, before a trial could
take place. The FBI and the Warren Commission officially concluded that
Oswald was the lone assassin. However, the U.S. House Select Committee on Assassinations (HSCA) concluded that those
investigations were flawed and that Kennedy as the
result of a conspiracy.
Kennedy continues to rank highly in public opinion rating of U.S. presidents.
